Dr. Samuel M. Silverman F.A.P.ASamuel M. Silverman, F.A.P.A., is the medical director of Substance Abuse Services at Rushford Behavioral Health in Glastonbury, CT.

He is a highly respected thought leader in the field of substance abuse, and has maintained a private practice in General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry in West Hartford, CT, since 1975. He also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Dr. Silverman is board certified by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) for General Psychiatry and Addiction Psychiatry, as well as by the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).
